EDUCATION
Associate’s degree in Graphic Art or a related field preferred. Four (4) years of directly related work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of three (3) years experience required.
Experience in an institution of higher education, preferably in a community college.
A sample of a professional portfolio required at the time of interview.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Comprehensive knowledge of graphics software
Ability to design and produce a variety of graphic materials such as brochures, newsletters, flyers, etc.
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and page layout applications required
Comprehensive writing and artistic skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently
Must be able to set priorities among urgent and concurrent deadlines
Must be able to maximize results under departmental budget constraints
