JOB SUMMARY
Under direct supervision assist the designated department by performing a variety of routine clerical task assignments.

We are seeking motivated interns to join our Network Team and gain hands-on experience in managing enterprise network infrastructure throughout its complete lifecycle. This role offers exposure to network monitoring, maintenance operations, and infrastructure transitions while working alongside experienced network professionals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (Other duties may be assigned:) 
 

  • Assist with continuous network monitoring using industry-standard tools and platforms
  • Support scheduled network maintenance including software updates and security patches
  • Assist with migration planning for network component replacements
  1. Answer telephone, handling multiple lines
  2. Handle routine office inquiries
  3. Operate office equipment such as computer, copier, fax, typewriter, and calculator
  4. Respond to requests for information, in person or over the phone, and provide necessary customer service to internal and external customers
  5. Type correspondence and other documents from notes, copies, or rough drafts
  6. Scan and process departmental documents such as surveys or office documents
  7. Process all incoming and outgoing mail
  8. Assist with special projects as assigned
  9. Provide support to other areas as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. The qualifications listed below are representative of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

EDUCATION

Currently pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering or Related field. 

EXPERIENCE

1 year experience in an office environment preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel computer applications.
  • Possess good written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to communicate courteously and effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and tools
