EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or any Business related field is required.

EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two (2) years of recent progressive management responsibility in special event planning and/or conference center operations required.

Supervisory experience preferred.

Five (5) years of experience in customer service environment and operations.

One (1) year of project management experience.

Three (3) years of experience in sales and in securing and developing contract negotiations (preferably in the hospitality industry).

Experience with event management system software highly preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Must be proficient in the following: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet technologies

Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Proven ability to manage multiple projects
