Executive Director, Network Infrastructure and Systems Support Services
JOB SUMMARY
The Executive Director of Network Infrastructure & Systems Support Services reports to the Chief Information Officer and is responsible for the strategic development, IT executive leadership and oversight for all day-to-day Network, Telecom, Enterprise Systems Administration Services, and physical security infrastructure systems maintenance and support functions.
The Executive Director is also responsible for the operationalization and monitoring of core network infrastructure support, deployment, and moves-adds-and-changes (MACs), to ensure that strategies and services align with HCC’s mission, goals, and objectives.

Responsible for the design, execution, and effectiveness of a system of internal controls which provides reasonable assurance that operations are effectives and efficient, assets are safeguarded, financial information is reliable and compliant with applicable law, regulation, policies, and procedures.
Manages Talent Engagement activities for direct reports in regards to: recruiting and selection, hiring and termination, training, development, mentoring, counseling, and performance evaluations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Research, evaluate and provide recommendations on the acquisition, deployment, configuration, replacement, upgrade and protocol of security products, processes and services using industry-standard service delivery metrics and other assessment and reporting tools; consult with management to determine requirements and priorities.
Collaborate with Cyber Security Directors to ensure proper development, testing, and updates to the IT disaster recovery and business continuity plan and procedures.
Assist with the evaluation, analysis, and assessment of the effectiveness of current security, processes, and services.
Collaborate with IT leadership to ensure alignment of client application, security, and on-site network infrastructure support services.
Lead the review, assessment, and establishment of cost-effective infrastructure security protocols, controls, and procedures to protect HCC’s information systems and assets from intentional and unintentional modification, disclosure, or destruction.
Act as the primary point of contact with the Network Infrastructure team on matters related to network security.
Maintain good working relationships with vendors, key stakeholders, local, state, and federal law enforcement, and other government agencies.
Communicate with management on any legal and regulatory changes affecting information security, privacy, and computer crime.
Collaborate with department heads on project proposals to ensure cooperation and to define the scope, schedule, and deliverables of the projects.
Collaborate with users, committees, and other service providers to coordinate security products, processes, and service initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
General Office. QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Services, Business Administration, Higher Education Leadership or related field required
- 7 years of progressively responsible experience in network infrastructure and security required
- Experience administering and managing a large network infrastructure and operations, telecom, security systems monitoring, and analysis required
