EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Educational Psychology, Criminal Justice, Counseling, or other related/compatible field is required. JD or Master’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in Human Resources, Compliance, or Student Services with a minimum of two (2) years in compliance, EEO, Title IX or related areas required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Experience dealing with all types of employees and students
Ability to interpret Title IX, federal, state, and local civil rights laws and regulations regarding gender discrimination, harassment, and retaliation
Demonstrated ability to manage and analyze data to prepare effective reports and presentations
Proficient in MS Office
Knowledge of automated Human Resources and student services information systems
Demonstrated ability to work well with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures in support of an inclusive and welcoming environment
Demonstrated ability to effectively work with hostile and emotional individuals in a compassionate, professional, and courteous manner to diffuse and manage complex problems
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional relationship with students, faculty, staff and third parties while handling sensitive, complex issues
Ability to effectively work in a collaborative, team-centered work environment and provide helpful leadership and support to stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
Ability to engage others in training, prevention, and awareness programs
