EDUCATION
Master’s degree in Education or related field required.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in mentoring faculty; experience in creating, developing, implementing and directing faculty/instruction leadership development processes, programs, workshops and events.
Five (5) years teaching experience at an institution of higher education.
Experience developing, implementing and managing a department-wide budget.
Strategic and business planning experience.
Management experience working with higher education faculty.
Three years of professional experience in a college setting, including administrative and/or supervisory experience in student learning.
Experience working with at risk or underprepared students.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Teaching experience in higher education.
Experience conducting presentation and training workshops.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Expert knowledge and skills of integrating instruction technologies into teaching and learning.
Strong writing, speaking, management, leadership and negotiating skills.
Ability to articulate the vision, goals and objectives of a teaching and learning resource support program in a comprehensive community college setting.
Excellent personnel management and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of trends in pedagogy, instructional design and instructional technologies.
Demonstrated commitment to faculty and student development.
Familiarity with and sensitivity to culturally diverse populations.
