EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
EXPERIENCE
Prefer two (2) years work experience in post-secondary institution including one (1) year SEVIS experience. Some experience in the following areas: program development, or academic or related services; and providing services for people of diverse cultural backgrounds, experiences, and ages.
Experience with PeopleSoft preferred.
Bilingual preferred.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Very detailed oriented
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with international people in an academic setting
Good professional and decision-making skills
Computer literate with technical experience with spreadsheets, electronic mail, and word processing software
Ability to comprehend and communicate technical information effectively and diplomatically. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and highly stressed environment
Ability to work as a member of a team
Ability to understand of U.S immigration & Custom Enforcement and Student Exchange Visitor Information (SEVIS) rules and regulations. Ability to understand college academic programs and procedures
