Analyst, Talent Technology
JOB SUMMARY
Leads other team members by providing expert in-depth knowledge of human capital management transactions. Processes recommendations for full and part-time employment. Performs processing of compensation records into human capital management systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Supervise, train and direct Talent Technology Representatives to process and input personnel actions, update and terminate employees, ensure that all required fields are complete to pay accurately and timely; guide them in researching problems and the correction of applicable data. Also responsible for doing the same for several colleges apart from those that the Talent Technology Representatives handle.
Supervise Talent Technology Representatives in the preparation and processing of pay alerts: research and verify correct pay; enters name, hourly assignment, amount of adjustment, and reason; forwards alert and time sheet to payroll. Also responsible for doing the same for several colleges apart from those that the Talent Technology Representatives handle.
Responsible for maintenance of human capital management tables including department, department budget, position and job codes, location, salary plan and grades to ensure accurate data to meet the internal/external needs of HCC.
Assist in processing Fiscal and Calendar Year End projects.
Prepare reports for Employment, and other HCCS departments.
Maintain calendar with dates of payroll runs and ensure that employee paperwork is submitted on time.
Maintain working knowledge of the FLSA, including number of hours an employee may work and appropriate O/T pay.
For grant-funded positions, verifies that grants have been renewed for the current fiscal year.
Process Degree Change alerts for all full-time employees in the system.
Process employee status change requests.
Coordinate with payroll to ensure that time entry dates have been recorded.
Coordinate with Finance department to ensure funds are budgeted for position control.
Prepare and analyze salary information for employees.
Advise, counsel, and answer inquiries within HCCS employees on Compensation matters.
Identify and document Talent Technology operating procedures, as needed.
Run audit reports to ensure data integrity.
Perform other duties, tasks and assignments as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Talent Management, Business Administration or related field of study required
- 2 years relevant experience with HRIS, data analysis, or data management experience required
- Supervisory experience preferred
Licensing & Certification

Working Conditions
General Office. Must be able to perform all job requirements with or without reasonable accommodations; remain in a stationary position during shift; move items weighing up to 25 pounds; position self to operate job equipment; apply established protocols in a timely manner. Must access, input and retrieve information from technology devices; communicate with others to accomplish job requirements. May be required to work after hours to include weekends and holidays.
