EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in academics or counseling.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two years of working in a College environment in STU and/or teaching.
Experience in dual credit, counseling or advising, or experience teaching in a high school.

Knowledge and commitment to the community college mission
Knowledge of the workings and organization of American high schools.
Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communications.

Adaptability and flexibility.
Ability to take the initiative and follow through.
Excellent ability to meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain good working relations with supervisors, faculty, staff, school, and college/university and community personnel.
Demonstrated ability in computer knowledge and with Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to work evenings and weekends in addition to regular work schedule.
Travel between schools is required.
Knowledge and experience with student information systems.
Knowledge of Texas statutes and TEA/THECB guidelines governing dual credit and early college high schools.
